Friday's Top 10 List: Smart

Missed last week's Top 10 (thank you, insanely hot weather), but continuing now with the 6 B's. Some of these ideas come straight from President Hinckley's talk and others are ideas that I found fit well with the theme.

BE SMART

1. The Lord wants you to educate your minds.
2. The Lord wants you to educate your hands.
3. Try new things and hone your interests.
4. READ!
5. Whatever field you choose, you must train yourselves.
6. Seek for the best schooling available.
7. Become a workman of integrity in the world that lies ahead of you.
8. Always be open to new opportunities (jobs, scholarships, networking, etc).
9. Know your passions and try to find a way to use that in a career.
10. Be willing to sacrifice small things for the greater reward that comes later.

And the benefits of being smart?

• You will be happier
• You will be a better spouse, employee, citizen
• You will bring honor to the Church
• You will be generously blessed because of your training
