Hello? Is there anybody out there?Where did you go?
My husband thinks I went overboard with the 20 Days of Gratitude theme. So, did I? Was it 20 Days of Boredom for my dear & faithful blog readers? If so, I apologize - but it sounded like a fun way to celebrate the season of Thanksgiving for me, at the time. I did have a few friends that left their thoughts - thanks and kisses to you guys for letting me know you're out there!
Well, because I dragged you all through those 20 Days of Blah-Blah-Blahdom, how about I make it up to you with a little contest? Besides, it's been a while and I'm in a giving mood - 'tis the season, right?
This one is super easy and here's the deal. We are remodeling for the next few weeks so we have to move - by this coming Wednesday - yikes! While packing and cleaning like a mad woman, I happened upon a huge jar of spare change. It was loaded, heavy and I'm thinking - dude, we are NOT moving this sucker anywhere. I even weighed it on our scale = 12.0 lbs! We are under a strict timeline, so no rolling for us - it's off to Coinstar for me.
So here's the contest in TWO very easy steps:
- Leave a comment on your guess for the total of my spare change bounty by 7pm, Sunday, December 6th. (Please note the picture at left is NOT my jar - rather an image I grabbed off Google.)
- Wait to see if you won!
So get to it - Happy Friday and Happy Guessing to you all!

My guess is $32.58! :)
whoops! I meant to add a 1 in front of the 3.
My guess is $132.58
How about $124.83 which if you recall is my birthday. :0)
After my super scientific and mathematically correct way of guessing...I say $150. I wanted it to be more for your sake though.
ok my guess is 88 dollars
$178.80
I loved your gratitude theme - thanks for sharing :)
$99.46 is my guess. Take it to a bank, not coinstar- major rip off with them! Anyway, that is my guess. Can't wait to see the final results. Fun game!
I'm thinking $40. I read and enjoyed your"thanks". I just don't comment much. I've felt the same way about my blog... no one comments anymore. I finally asked my children if they are even reading it and they assured me they were (oh, then how come you didn't know I was sick?) Keep posting.
Hmmmm....I'm going to say $127.
Oh and I have been reading your blog, but I've been terrible about commenting lately. We were out of town there for a while too.
I've been bad about commenting on everyone's blog lately, but I still do stop by and read.
I'm going to guess $102.45. With Chris working at the appliance warehouse he has saved up a quite a bit of spare change. The shoebox was so heavy I couldn't even carry it when we took it to the bank.
I'm guessing 188.90. Aren't you glad you found it. Just in time for Christmas and remodeling. Fun game.
