(Photo: Kristen Sheard) I just had to share this picture. I think that it is disappointing to find the tulips after their heads have been lopped off. The stems look so lonely and boring and void of color; it's just sad.
But, the tale doesn't end there! Kristen posted this picture on her Facebook page, with this informative caption:
You can't read the plate very well but this tulip is called 'American Dream'
and is the only tulip in this huge field that had the petals wacked off. Talk
about depressing.
