He serves in the scout program, which is a shared effort between our ward and Harbor Pointe. This summer, one of the HP leaders has planned a high adventure scouting trip, in which he plans to take 5 boys and 5 leaders on a summit attempt for Mount Rainier. In fact, at this very moment, he is sleeping on a windy, snow slope at Camp Muir, which is Day 1 of the Mount Rainier expedition. I do not have yet have pictures or details for that climb, but rest assured that I will share them as soon as our fearless crew returns.
In preparation for Rainier, a fews weeks ago the group traveled south to Oregon for a training climb on Mount Hood. Luckily, the weather cooperated with them on the trip. Although they encountered a precarious cat walk along the last ridge, they were able to successfully summit the mountain.

Wow. Absolutely Beautiful. Who is the white marshmallow in the group. What brave souls you were and are.
I always love how you display your photos in your blog. Do you use blogger to do that, or photoshop or something else? They look so great!
