Luke had a Birthday, shout Hooray!
Last weekend, Benjamin attended his first friend birthday party. It was the 3rd Birthday for Tamara's little guy, Luke. He's in the green sweatshirt in the pics below. We had pizza, salad and cake with ice cream, followed by a rousing game of duck-duck-goose. One of Luke's presents, Air Hogs, was brought out and all of the kids got to take turns.
I think Benjamin took one turn with the Air Hogs toy, but it was a little advanced for him... and besides, something else caught his eye. Bet you can't guess what that was!
A bouncy ball is his second greatest love, right next to his monkey blanket. As you can see, he spent a lot of time throwing, tossing, chucking and hurling that pink wonder all over the place. The last two pictures, although hard to see, are examples of his classic "stink-eye"; this occurs when we want to remove one of his "loves" from his possession.
"Wanna play, mommy? Too bad, this thing here is mine, all mine!"
As you can see, someone else wanted to play with the bouncy ball.
"Too bad, so sad, little lady! You're never gonna catch ME!"
Apparently, we are going to have to work on the word: SHARING.

Duck-duck-goose was quite the entertaining game. Loved having you guys. P.S. You had some better shots of the rocket than I got!
