Do the 'do!

About a month ago, a co-worker and I decided to be a little spontaneous one night. We'd been discussing hairstyles of the rich and the famous on the ride home in our vanpool. When we arrived at our Park & Ride, we hopped out of our vanpool and hopped into our cars, heading straight for a local salon. While flipping through some random fashion magazines, the pages magically fell open in my lap to photos of the two people we'd been discussing. Obviously, it was fate.

So, that was that; she got the "Katie Holmes" cut and I got the "Victoria Beckham" style. Yes, that's right - I just chopped off 7 inches in one fell swoop! (I did consider Locks of Love until I saw the sorry shape of my freshly trimmed locks.) In case you were wondering, I was never under the illusion that I was going walk out looking like a Spice Girl alum. However, I did walk out feeling like a million bucks... and it was worth every penny of the $15 (+tip) that I paid!
