This year I attempted to be crafty... more so than usual. Besides the typical baking bonanza, I took on some more elaborate ideas for Christmas gifts. Using some extra boards from our YW closet, I painted and stenciled some sayings on them which I gave to some of our friends. I was happy with the finished product, and might be tempted to do more if I can build on an extra room to house all of the tools & materials. As my husband will attest, our dining/living room has been transformed into the Christmas workshop. My task for this weekend is to excavate our dining table so that we can eat family dinner together again.
